Commission Disclosure

Please read this page carefully. Last updated: September 2026.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

In line with SEBI and AMFI requirements, Patni Investmart discloses how it is compensated for distributing mutual funds and other products.

1. Mutual funds

We receive trail commission from Asset Management Companies on investments made through us in the regular plans of mutual fund schemes. No upfront commission is paid by AMCs, as per SEBI regulations. The commission is paid by the AMC out of the scheme's Total Expense Ratio (TER); we do not charge you any separate fee for mutual fund distribution.

Commission rates differ across AMCs, schemes and categories, and may change from time to time. The actual commission paid to us on your investments is shown in your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) each half-year.

2. Direct plans

Every scheme also offers a direct plan, bought directly from the AMC, with a lower expense ratio since no distributor commission is paid. You are free to invest in direct plans.

3. Other products

  • Insurance: commission or remuneration as permitted under IRDAI regulations, paid by the insurer or the licensed intermediary through whom the policy is placed.
  • Portfolio Management Services: distribution fee from the portfolio manager, as disclosed in the PMS Disclosure Document and client agreement.
  • Fixed deposits: brokerage paid by the issuing company or bank.
  • Demat and trading accounts: referral or sharing arrangements with the stock broker, where applicable.

4. Scheme-wise details

Scheme-wise commission details for the schemes you hold or are considering are available on request. Please write to patniadvisors@gmail.com.
